SAMBA: The seven days special camp organised by NSS Unit of Government Degree College Samba on Wednesday concluded.
Dr Vishav Raksha, NSS Coordinator, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest whereas Dr Ramesh Chander Pricipal of the College was also present on the occasion.
Dr Sandhya Rani, NSS Programme Officer organized the camp.
The programme began Bhajan song by Bharti and after that Diksha Jamwal read out the report of seven days NSS activities of the camp.
A poem was presented by the Rohini Manhas and a Dogri group song by the volunteers.
Prof. Vishav Raksha spoke on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and highlighted the importance of NSS community services and women empowerment.
She congratulated NSS volunteer Ajay for being selected in pre Republic Day Camp. Dr Ramesh Chander also expressed his views on women empowerment.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr Seema Bhau and programme was anchored by Pooja Sambyal. At last prize distribution ceremony was held in which all the staff members of the college were present.
