SRINAGAR: Speaker, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday directed the government to investigate the cause of death of a female teacher at Sonwar recently. The Speaker gave the directions after the issue was raised by Engineer Abdul Rashid in the Legislative Assembly. Rashid said that the said teacher didn’t die of natural cause but there is a strong suspicion of her being poisoned. He said that the family members of the teacher also protested recently demanding inquiry in the matter. He demanded that government should order an impartial inquiry into the incident.
