JAMMU: J&K Softball Association on Tuesday named the UT team for the 41st Edition of Junior National Softball Championship scheduled to be held at Patna in Bihar from February 21 to 25.
Subsequently, the team was screened by the officials of J&K Sports Council led by Sports Officer, Baljinder Pal Singh in the presence of Association General Secretary, Wasee Raja Khan at MA Stadium, here.
Prior to the final selection, the Association conducted a 15 days residential coaching camp at GGM Science College ground, here under the guidance of coaching staff including Mohmad Iqbal Beigh, Sagar Chib and Amit Sharma.
Mohmad Iqbal Beigh shall accompany the team as coach while Arif Hussain has been named manager.
The Team: Bhat Talat Khurshid, Athar Hussain, Salik Ashraf, Aman Ali, Faisal Hussain, Zain Ul Ashraf, Amaan Ajaz, Zehran Habib, Irshad Hussain, Sandeep Singh, Nitin Sharma, Padam Dev Singh, Mahul Singh, Shivam Singh, Vansh Charak and Zahid Fayaz Khan. Stand by: Mohd Amaan Rather and Asrar Majeed.
