JAMMU: J and K Social Forestry Employees Union decided to hold a protest on 11th January in front of the Office of Director Social Forestry, Talab Tillo to press the State Government and the higher authority of Social Forestry Department for amendment in the recruitment rule of Social Forestry and 100 per cent promotion quota to the 1950 junior Mali.
While addressing press conference here on Saturday, President of the Union, Raj Singh Pawar, Vice President Piran Ditta and General Secretary Updesh Singh strongly condemned the anti-employees attitude of the concerned authorities by stanching away promotion avenue of Jr Malis and providing promotion to particular cadre.
They appealed to all Social Forestry employees to participate in the protest in a large number to make it success.
Other prominent leaders of Social Forestry Employees Union who attended the Press conference were Sheh Dev Singh, Rampal, Hardev Singh, Mangal Singh, Madan Lal, Swarn Singh, Ashok Kumar, Ranbeer Singh and Rumal Singh.
