KATRA: On the persistent demand of Hotel and Restaurant Associtaion of Katra, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Speciality Hospital is empanelled in the panel of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for super specialty treatments in the first stage and would be empanelled for secondary treatments as well in the near future as disclosed by A.K Arya Regional Director and Om Parkash State Medical Commissioner ESIC in a meeting organised here by Hotel and Restaurant Association Katra.
While speaking on the occasion, Arya and Om Parkash elaborated in detail the policies, programmes and schemes of ESIC for the benefit of the employees and particularly the latest Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers and Employees (SPREE) in which the units can register its employees any time before 30th June without any backdated arrears, penalties or fines.
Wazir, while speaking on the occasion, said that empanelment of SMVD Narayana in the panel of ESIC will prove to be mile stone in the sector of health particularly for the employees and their families and asked the department for further simplification in the procedures of registration of employees, refund of bills, referring of patients to the empanelled hospitals and other works.
Among those present in the meeting include Rakesh Ranajan Employees Social Welfare Officer, Nishant Sharma, Raj Kumar, Sudershan Sharma, Rakesh Charak and Rajinder Singh besides representatives and owners of most of the hotels of Katra.
