RAJOURI: J and K Executive Chairman State Legal Services Authority Justice Virender Singh reached out to flood victims at Sunderbani and Dandesar to take stock of facilities being provided to them by district administration Rajouri. The flood affected people apprised him about problems being faced by them.
Virender Singh told them to approach the’ care and sport centers ‘temporarily opened for affected people by J and K SLSA . These centres will ensure immediate help by government and non government agencies to the victims. The para legal volunteers were directed to forward grievances of the flood affected victims who will approach these centres to the respective Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee who in turn were directed to coordinate with the distt administration for their redressal. The Core Group headed by Mehmood Ahmed Choudhary CJM Rajouri as well as member Muzaffar Iqbal Khan Mobile Magistrate Rajouri were also directed to ensure immediate relief to the victims.
The Executive Chairman SLSA along with District Development Commissioner Jitender Kumar Singh also distributed the relief material in the form of family kits, blankets, Terpals ,food items ,sweaters to the flood affected victims.
DDC Rajouri assured full administrative cooperation to SLSA and said such initiatives will help administration in reaching out to the needy.
ADDC Veer Hangloo, ACR Rajouri , CPO, and all district officers were also present.
