JAMMU: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yudhvir Sethi on Tuesday visited the Peer Kho Skating Rink which was badly affected by floods.
Recently the skaters of Roller Athlete Skating Club, Jindrah started clean skating rink campaign as the rink was totally covered with mud.
Appreciating the step being taken by the Roller Athlete Skating Club Jindrah, Sethi assured them that within a day the municipality would start cleaning work and the rink would be ready for the skaters.
He further said that the rink has produced number of national and international skaters and also appreciated the noble work done by G.S Khurmi by providing platform to those skaters who don’t even think of choosing skating as a sport to play.
Prominent persons present on the occasion were Pankaj Verma, P.P Singh, Jatin Sabharwal, Krish Gupta, Aryavir Singh Jamwal, Ankush Kohli, Narinder Malhotra, Pardeep Singh Jamwal, Arvind Singh, Sunil Pargal, Jugraj Singh Charlie, Arnav and Abhinay Sharma.
