JAMMU: Police on Sunday arrested six gamblers and recovered Rs 3,040 from the gambling spot as a stake money.
According to a report, a team of police post Pounichack conducted a raid at Trilokpur area and arrested six gamblers identified as Pankaj Kumar son of Sham Lal, Ram Murti Sharma son of Jai Krishan, Tarseem Lal son of Madan Lal, Kali son of Jallu Ram, Kamal Kumar son of Ram Lal and Shashi Pal son of Radhy Sham.
Police also recovered stake money of Rs 3,040 from the spot and booked the arrested accused under Gambling Act.
