JAMMU: A six days orientation training programme at State Institute of Education Jammu for the Zonal Education Officers of all the ten district of Jammu division on the educational planning and financial management concluded on Saturday.
The training programme was conducted under the guidance and overall supervision by Joint Director (Trgs)/Principal SIE Jammu, H.R Pakhroo.
During the six day training programme various key issue like school administration, educational monitoring and accountability, delegation of authority, role and responsibility of the head of institutions, RTI Act, leave rules, pay fixation, civil service rules, budgeting, treasury transactions, OB items, pension cases, codal procedures for incurring expenditure out of the local funds, settlement of the audit paras contained in the AIRs, income tax rule were taken up in depth by the resource persons of SIE Jammu viz Field Advisor, CEOs, RO and resource persons from other departments viz Director Accounts and Treasuries Finance Department, Senior Accounts Officer O/o Pr. Accountant General Jammu and Principals.
The valedictory function was presided over by Senior Field Advisor (Chief Coordinator) who emphasized on the thrust for adapting the managerial skills, knowledge of financial rule and developing leadership qualities. Further he impressed upon the participant ZEOs to fully utilise the knowledge gained during the training programme in the field of their jurisdiction in an effective and most efficient manner. And the participant ZEOs acknowledged and appreciated the training programme as most useful and beneficial.
The proceedings of the training programme were conducted by Research Officer (Coordinator) SIE Jammu.
