Six bovines rescued in Rajouri

RAJOURI: Police on Sunday foiled a bovine smuggling bid by rescuing six bovines from the clutches of a smuggler.
As per the details, Rajouri Police led by SHO Police Station Rajouri Inspr. Chaman Gorkha on a specific information laid Nakas at Khandli bridge. During Naka checking, police seized a Tata Mobile (JK02AR-7370) and rescued six bovines which were on its way from Rajouri to Srinagar via Thanamandi-Mughal Road. Bovine smugglers fled away from the spot.
A case vide FIR No.745 /2016 under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA was registered at Police Station Rajouri.
