JAMMU: Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor and Diamond Cricket Club Simbal defeated opponent teams in the league matches of the ongoing T20 Knock Tournament, organised by Range Police Hqrs. Jammu under Civic Action Program 2023-2024 at Jammu University Cricket Ground, here.
The tournament organised under the guidance and directions of DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range Dr. Sunil Gupta and overall supervision of Staff Officer to DIG Jammu Rajinder Singh Katoch, SSP.
In the tournament the dignitaries and general public were also present to boost the morale of the players.
In today’s first match, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor beat Rebellz Cricket Club and won the match by seven wickets and Neeraj declared Man of the Match for scoring 33 runs.
In another match, Diamond Cricket Club Simbal beat NLCC Cricket Club Chouhala by 141 runs and Jahanveer declared Man of the Match for scoring 89 runs and grabbing two wickets.
SO to DIG Jammu, Rajinder Singh Katoch while addressing media said that such type of tournaments may strengthen the Police and Public relations.
The team members of CAP from Range Police Hqrs. Jammu DySP Jatinder Singh, ASI Tarsem Lal, ASI Jasbir Singh, SgCt Sudesh Sharma, Jit Kumar and Vishal Verma were also present for smooth functioning of the tournament.
