Hyderabad: Rio Olym-pics silver medallist, shuttler P V Sindhu and her mentor and chief national Badminton coach Pulela Gopichand will be felicitated at the ‘Alai Balai’ programme organised by Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya here on October 12.
“We will be felicitating P V Sindhu, Gopichand and Sindhu’s father P V Ramana besides G Satheesh Reddy, Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister, Malavath Poorna, the youngest girl to scale Mount Everest and several others including Vice-Chancellor’s of different Universities at the ‘Alai Balai’ event on October 12,” the Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Bandaru Dattatreya told reporters.
