Sikh organisations protest against government

NOWSHERA: Vvarious Sikh youth organisations of district Rajouri on Sunday held protest against J and K Coalition Government for not protecting minority Sikh community in J and K. The protest was held under the chairmanship of President, District Gurdwara Parbandak Committee (DGPC) Rajouri Bopinder Singh Tiger. The religious organisation including Baba Banda Singh Sikh Youth Organisations Rajouri, Sikh youth Organisation Kalakote, Khalsa Commando Force Sunderbani and Sikh Students Federation of Nowshera also protested.
DGPC President Bhopinder Singh Tiger and others alleged that Harvinder Singh resident of RS Pura area was assaulted in Akhnoor by serval goons and his hair was also pulled at Bus Stand Akhnoor. The protesters claimed that the assailants also made a video of assault and circulated it on social media. President of Khalsa Commando Force Sunderbani and Black Belt of martial art Zorawar Singh said the assailants have not only attacked the Sikh youth but also showed disrespect to the Sikh faith. “We demand immediate arrest of all the accused otherwise our youth is ready to face the accused” Singh said.
