RAJOURI: A Sub-Inspector was injured when he was attacked by some people over some issue in Chingus area of Rajouri District.
As per the police sources, Incharge Police -Post Chingus SI Mohd Rafiq was attacked by a group of people near the police post. Injured SI was shifted to Rajouri Hospital from where he was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for treatment. As per the detail, he received head injury after being hit by wooden log. Police has registered a case and launched manhunt to nab the attackers. Meanwhile, after attack on SI, Police Department has ordered minor reshuffle. SI Fareed has been posted In-Charge Police Post Chatyar, SI Naseer as In-charge Police Post Rajouri City and SI Sajid Iqbal as In-charge Police Post Teryath.
