Shubham, Suryansh hit tons in big KCSC win

AKHNOOR: Young Shubham Pundeer and Suryansh hit superb centuries to help KC Sports Club (KCSC) defeat Singh Challenger Akhnoor by a huge margin of 248 runs in the Summer Cup Twenty20 Tournament underway at Government Higher Secondary School Ground, here on Saturday.
Earlier, batting first, after winning the toss, KC Sports Club set a big total of 333 runs for four wickets. Shubham made 136 runs off just 49 deliveries while Suryansh scored 103 runs coming off 42 balls. Abhishant added valuable 15-ball 26 runs.
Bunty was most successful bowler for Singh Challenger, who took two wickets while Lucky and Rajinder shared apiece each.
In reply, Singh Challenger could not survive the bowling wrath of KCSC and was bundled out cheaply for 85 runs in 12.4 overs. Sunil made highest 23 runs while Bunty and Lucky were other two batsmen, who could touch the double figure mark with 10 runs each.
For KCSC, Arjun Singh and Suryansh took three wickets each while Sahil bagged two. Amrit and Karan secured one wicket each.
Suryansh was named Man of the Match for his all round performance. The match was officiated by Dayal Singh and Dilawar Singh as Umpires while Deepak Magotra maintained the score.
This tournament is being organised by Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh.
