Shrine Board employees demand facilities at par with those of Govt

KATRA : Shrine Board Employees Union Katra in a meeting held under its President Raj Kumar demanded pay grades and facilities at par with State Government employees.
The employees said that there are huge differences in the facilities being given to the employees of Shrine Board and those available to the State Govt employees. The retirement age of the State employees has been increased to as 60 years but in the case of Shrine Board employees the same continues to be 58 years, Raj Kumar said adding that over 3,000 employees of the Shrine Board are deprived of the pay grade and other facilities.
The participants in the meeting appealed to all the political parties to include their demands in their manifesto for the coming elections. General Secretary of the Union Parshotam Singh and cashier Banke Lal were also present in the meeting.
