JAMMU: Taking strong notice of the disturbances during Amarnath Yatra every year by anti social elements in Kashmir Valley, State unit of Shri Ram Sena has severely condemned the attitude of anti social/ antinational elements in Kashmir who are hell bent upon spoiling the Hindu’s most sacred pilgrimage.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, State President Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan said the anti social elements every make a bid to disturb Amarnath Yatra, which cannot be tolerated at any cost.
Mahajan said the motto of mischief mongers cannot be conceded, may it be at the cost of life of Shiv Bhagats. Shiv Bhagats are capable of performing their revered Yatra at the cost of their lives and no power on this earth can deter them from performing Yatra which is most cherished desire of a Hindu to perform Amarnath Yatra atleast once in life time, he added.
Mahajan appealed to the State as well as Central Government to use their good offices to do away with the problem to avoid the atmosphere from further worsening, when Shiv Bhagats take law in their own hands.
Mahajan said that Amarnath Yatris have been stranded in different location in Jammu division and in Kashmir for the last four days of turmoil and are facing multiple problems. He appealed to government to make adequate arrangements for their security, food and shelter.
Mahajan also appealed to the government to establish a separate route for Amarnath Yatris via Kishtwar so that Yatra is not affected due to anti-social elements of Kashmir.
Mahajan also appealed to senior citizens of
Kashmir Valley that they help in maintaining peace in Valley for not only peaceful conduct of Amarnath Yatra but for those poor people whose whole livelihood is dependent on tourism and Amarnath Yatra.
Hoteliers, pony Wallah, Pithus (labourers) and alike others are wholly dependent on the visitors (tourists and Yatris) who are being harassed by a self interested section of society at the cost of other fellow citizens, he said and hoped that good sense will prevail upon miscreants and leave the path of destruction in the better interest of their own brethren.
