VIJAYPUR : A shopkeeper identified as Onkar Singh (55) son of Gurmukh Singh resident of Ward No 11, Vijaypur, was attacked on Tuesday by one Ravi Kumar son of Yash Paul resident of Phinder, R S Pura with a sharp edged weapon and was seriously injured.
The victim accused his son-in-law Kamal Singh son of baldev Singh of R S Pura for investigating the attack.
The injured shopkeeper was immediately shifted to Vijaypur Hospital. Since his condition was critical, he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
The Vijaypur Police immediately swung into action and arrested the attacker Ravi Kumar and victim’s son-in-law Kamal Singh and registered the case FIR 72/14 under section 307/108/109/120-B RPC and 34 Arms Act.
