JAMMU: Shiv Shakti Sena, J and K, staged a protest against the militants attack on CRPF checking party and general public at Kud on the National Highway.
Party workers and general public in the protest raised slogans against the State Government which they said has totally failed to put a check upon the militancy related activities in the State.
“Militants are roaming freely in the Valley carrying arms and ammunition to target the general public and defence forces thereby killing Indian soldiers,” Rakesh Gupta, President of the Sena, said.
Rakesh Gupta, , while criticising the State administration and especially the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for showing soft corner to these militants, said on the one hand Mehbooba is criticising Pakistan for provoking militancy in Kashmir and on the other she is not initiating any stern action against the militants who are off and on causing damage to the Indian Army and other security forces.
Gupta warned the State and Central Government, especially Mehbooba Mufti and Narendra Modi to take hard and immediate action to stop militancy in Kashmir Valley.
Such growing militant activities are posing great threat to the security for forthcoming Holy Amarnath Yatra, he said.
Protesters also burnt the Pakistan Flag and warned Pakistan to avoid such heinous acts so as to restore peace and normalcy in this sub-continent which is beneficial for the progress of both the countries.
Shiv Deep Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, Devanshu, Sonu Kumar, Ashwani Gupta, Kaka, Rahul Gupta and Aman Kumar were also present in the protest.
