JAMMU: Shiv Shakti Sena, J&K staged a protest against the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department for escalation in the rates of the essential commodities and improper supplies of these items to the consumers.
Party activists along with general public led by Party State President Rakesh Gupta assembled in front of Main Chowk, Janipur, here and raised slogans against the State administration and especially the Minister for FCS&CA Department.
Gupta urged upon the State Government to roll back this decision and allow supply of wheat and rice to the rationees on the previous rates. He further warned that if this decision is not reverted then the general public will be forced to come on roads and stage Statewide protest against the government. The protest was also attended by a large gathering comprising of Shiv Deep Gupta, Ashwani Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, Mahinder Dogra, Kaka, Rahul Gupta and Aman Kumar.
