JAMMU: Shiv Shakti Sena, J and K expressed great concern over the step motherly behaviour of CAPD authorities with the inhabitants of Jammu province. Scores of Shiv Shakti Sena activists led by Party President Rakesh Gupta staged a protest at Exhibition Ground, near Press Club, here on Wednesday.
Gupta criticised the State administration and especially CAPD Department for initiating steps to disburse the ration.
The decision regarding the supply of ration material to needy and poor rationees is just to make a mockery of them. In the past, 30 Kg. Atta, 5 Kg. rice, sugar at 750 Gm. per head, was disbursed to the rationees at control rate, but now decision of reduction of ration has created chaos amongst these rationees.
Gupta urged the Governor for taking cognisance of this issue and initiate appropriate steps for re-analysing these calculations and enhance the quota of ration material per head so that the rationees may be able to get proper ration material for their survival. Rakesh Gupta stated that in case this decision is not withdrawn immediately, party will be forced to intensify agitation against the CAPD Department. Shiv Deep Gupta, Sat Pal Sharma, Sonu Kumar, Ashwani Gupta, Kaka, Rahul Gupta and Aman Kumar also spoke on the occasion.
