Shiv Sena protests Fidayeen attacks, burns Pak flag
STATE TIMES NEWS
R S PURA: Condemning the recent ‘Fidayeen attack’ on CRPF Training Centre at Lethpora in South Kashmir during which five security personnel were martyred besides the fast deteriorating situation in J&K due to BJP-PDP coalition’s gross failures and mal-governance, a strong battalion of Shiv Sainiks spearheaded by Dimpy Kohli President State Unit Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery) staged a strong protest at Miran Sahib, here on Wednesday. Protestors on the occasion also set ablaze the flag of Pakistan and also shouted slogans against it.
While addressing the protestants Dimpy Kohli said that the terror attacks in the State had become a routine affair with no virtual sign of governance but anarchy all across the State.
Eulogising the courage and valour of the martyred brave hearts who foiled the nefarious attack of JeM militants at the CRPF Training Centre, he said that the security forces successfully eliminated the militants who had stormed into the camp and averted the possibility of a heavy casualty.
Recalling similar ‘Fidayeen attack’ at District Police Lines Pulwama in August last year during which eight security personnel were martyred and five had been injured, he said that the situation had deteriorated in J&K due to the coalition’s surrender to the dictates of secessionists in the Valley.
Ruing that the BJP-PDP Government doling the premiums to NoKs of slain militants but disparagingly showing empty coffers to the NoKs of the martyrs had emboldened the militants to go berserk in the Valley, he said adding that situation in Kashmir had worsened to such an extent that the stone pelters and anti-nationals openly dared to assault and manhandle the security personnel on duty in full public view.
Alleging total collapse of law and order with the State Government failing to address the grievances of the people, Dimpy Kohli said that the residents of forward hamlets faced the worst ever cross-border firing in three years which had caused a huge loss of life, property, crops and cattle stock due to non-provision of shelters at safer zones.
He further said that Modi Govt. must explain its policy towards Pakistan and must stop befooling the masses. Leaders of R S Pura unit of Shiv Sena also spoke on the occasion and criticised Modi Govt. for not taking concrete steps to eliminate the militants active in the Kashmir Valley.
