KATRA: Shiv Sena (Bala Saheb Thackeray) and Sant Samaj jointly performed a Hawan and took out a grand Shobha Yatra on Sunday at Katra, to commemorate 28th anniversary of demolition of disputed structure built on Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya. A number of Shiv Saniks and followers of Swami Rajeshwaranand performed Hawan-Yagya at Shani Mandir Katra before taking out a grand Shobha Yatra in the town.
Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Sena President J&K, Manish Sahni said that in fact the foundation of construction work of Ram Temple at Janmabhoomi was laid on 6 Dec, 1992. Saint Rajeshwaranand Maharaj also spoke on the occasion.
Others present on the occasion included President Mahila wing Meenakshi Chibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Secretary Raj Singh, Vice President Mahila wing Sofia Sagu, Geeta Rani, Sanjeev Soodan, Dimple, Raj Kamal, Roop Singh and Ramkesh Sharma.
