KATRA: Shiv Kumar Sharma has been re-elected as President of Senior Citizen’s Welfare Forum, Katra (Regd.) during the General House meeting held here on Tuesday.
Meanwhile Sukhdev Singh was elected as Vice-President, Rattan Singh Manhas -General Secretary, Mohan Lal Sharma -Secretary and Om Parkash Magotra -Treasurer of the Forum.
The election process was completed under the chairmanship of Krishan Singh (Retired Director Finance) with Returning Officer Charan Dass (Retired Headmaster), Assistant (Returning officers Rattan Chand (Retired Deputy Manager (Finance) and Chunni Lal (Retired Sectioned Officer).
The newly elected body will be for two consecutive years as per the constitution. All the members of the Forum participated in election process which was completed in a peaceful manner and newly elected officer bearers gratitude the general house. Out of total 53 members, 42 participated in election process.
Senior Members of the Forum Braham Saroop Sharma, Om Parkash Puri, Captain (Retired) Hans Raj, Channay Ram, Ajit Lal Sharma, Mubarik Singh, Sunder Dass Sharma, Mukund Ram Sharma congratulated on behalf of all the members.
