Shito Ryu Karate School wins medals in karate c’ship

JAMMU: Students of Shito Ryu Karate School of Jammu and Kashmir won medals for the State in 33rd All India Karate Championship held at Mussorie from 28th to 31st May, 2017.
The championship was organised by Shito Ryu Karate School of India.
Shreeya Labroo won gold in Kata and silver in Kumite in under-10 yrs category, Manik Dhar got bronze in Kata and silver in Kumite in under-17 yrs category, Akshun Slathia win gold in Kumite in under-17 and Naresh Kumar bagged silver in Kata and Kumite each in under-24 yrs category.
Students achieved this feat under the supervision of Sensei Amit Singh Chief Coach Black Belt 4th Dan Karate Association of India, Sensei Vikas Dhar, Team Coach and Association Coach Naresh Kumar Black belt 2nd Dan.
Association President Praneesh Mahajan and General Secretary Surinder Gupta congratulated players for their achievement.
Vikram Singh, District President PDP Youth Jammu Province appreciated players/achievers and distributed certificates among the winners.
