RAMBAN: Shining Sangaldan outplayed Royal Rajputs in a final and clinched a trophy of Ramban Kabaddi League organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Government Higher Secondary School, here on Tuesday.
Earlier, Shining Sangaldan trounced Thakur Boys and Royal Rajputs downed Balaut Bulls in the semifinal matches, Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
The winning Sangaldan team received cash prizes alongwith trophy, he said adding that medallions were also given to each participants, the runners up were also facilitated.
Speaking on the occasion, Durga Das, Headmaster, GHSS Ramban said that the tournament has been a huge success in terms of unearthing the talent of youth from remote areas and channelizing their energy in the constructive field of sports.
