JAMMU: The newly elected General Secretary of Tawi Trekkers J and K and a qualified national judge in sport climbing, Shawetica Khajuria has been selected as a Judge for the 20th North Zone Sport Climbing Championship.
The competition is scheduled to be held at Kanpur from 25th to 28th September, a handout issued by the J and K Mountaineering Association here on Wednesday informed.
Shawetica is among the four judges selected by Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) North Zone Committee from across the North Zone for the conduct of the zonal championship. Other judges are Mitra Ghosh, Amit Sharma and Dami.
She has already judged at a number of national and zonal competitions and has been president of jury of State Sport Climbing competitions for the last many years.
