JAMMU: The State Government on Monday appointed Shantmanu, IAS (3K:91) as Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir.
The order issued by GAD states, “In pursuance of notification No. 154/J&K/2015-EPS dated 5th June, 2015, issued by the Election Commission of India, Shantmanu, IAS (3K:91), is appointed as Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir. “Shantmanu, IAS shall also be the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Incharge of Election Department,” the order adds.
