JAMMU: A sexually assaulted victim sought justice and strict punishment to the accused persons. Addressing a press conference, a victim woman hailing from Tehsil Mahore, district Reasi said that she was sexually assaulted by two persons in the month of May 2016. “Bahar Din, son of Abdul Qadir and his brother Shabir Ahmed, both residents of Village Arbais, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi were having bad eye over me and Bahar Din who is working in J and K Police and presently posted as Head Constable by using his influence threatened me,” she said.
“In the month of May 2016, both the brothers hatched conspiracy to outrage my modesty and on one day, when I was coming back from parental house to my in-laws house, both the brothers caught me at Arbais and forcibly took me in the house of Ghulam Mah Din, son of Altaf Din and confined me in a room at about 4:00/5:00 PM and committed a repeated sexual assault,” she said.
She stated that the police is not initiating any action against them and demanded arrested of both the accused persons immediately.
She appealed to the Chief Minister and Director General of Police to intervene in the matter and help her in getting justice.
