UDHAMPUR: Seven Star Club defeated Malhar Club and clinched the volleyball title in the ongoing District Level Sports Tournament organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Udhampur at Yojra Talab, Battal Ballian, which concluded here on Monday.
The tournament was organised to commemorate 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R Ambedkar.
In the prize distribution ceremony, Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Pawan Gupta was the Chief Guest who gave away prizes to winner and runner up players in presence of District Youth Coordinator Nehru Yuva Kendra Udhampur, Nissar Ahmed Butt and Sarpanch Puran Chand.
Final results:
In race Under 15: Ghulam Azad first and Rahul Kumar second. Under 17: Saur Ali first and Yogesh second. Under 19: Ganesh Kumar first and Govind Chand second.
Spoon Race: Kamal Dev Singh first and Sameer second.
