SAMBA: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Samba on Thursday organised a valedictory function of seven-day camp. Dr. Romesh Chander, Principal of the College, was the Chief Guest who started the programme by lighting the traditional lamp.
The Chief Guest expressed concern about the morals which young students should follow in their lives to make a healthy society.
On the occasion, volunteers presented cultural programme and recited poems. Prizes were distributed among the volunteers who excelled in various activities organised in the camp.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Rawan Kumar, NSS Programme Officer of the College. Other faculty members were also present on the occasion.
