All set to begin second round of NPR

SAMBA: The Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Mubarak Singh convened a meeting of officers of Directorate of Census Operations, J and K to discuss and review the second round of registration under National Population Register viz Biometric (BME) capturing which will commence from 27th of October, 2014 in Samba District.
District In-charge Samba (Directorate of Census Operations, J and K) – V.K Moza informed during the meeting that left out persons during the first round shall be identified and covered during the second round. He further informed that BME Capturing of left out persons shall be started on 27th of October, 2014 at Bari-Brahmna.
The Deputy Commissioner while having a discussion, directed that BME Capturing in respect of persons of all the areas for whom fresh NPR schedules have been filled up by the concerned enumerator, shall be taken after digitisation of the data.
He stressed upon the officers of civil administration present in the meeting to gear up their field staff and further to extend their full cooperation to the concerned agency, so as to complete the assignment in a time bound manner.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba – Inderjeet, Tehsildar-Samba, R.K Gupta – State Coordinator (ECIL), Waheed Khan – State Nodal Officer, Representatives of Enrolment Agency – Comtech Info Solutions Pvt. Ltd and Executive Officers of Municipal Committee – Bari Brahmna, Vijaypur, Samba and Ramgarh were also present in the meeting.
