Jodhamal School’s Senior Wing celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU: Minister of Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga on Saturday said that schools should focus on moral values rather than mere education to the students.
The minister was speaking in the 13th Annual Day celebration of Jodhamal Public School, here on Saturday.
Ganga, who was the chief guest on the occasion, asked the school management to always take the initiative for proper education and guidance for children as they are the future leader of the country.
Maj. Gen. Nalindra Kumar, ADG, NCC Jammu was the Guest of Honour and Ishfaq Jabbar MLA and A.G Mir, Additional DGP were the Special Guests on the occasion.
Earlier, the function commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries to invoke God’s blessings. This entailed the welcome speech by the Head Girl Manasvani Oswal.
Among the management, the dignitaries present were Arati Kuthiala, Director and Pooja Panthri, Vice Principal.
Students presented colourful cultural programme which made the audience spellbound.
Nandan Kuthiala, the Trustee, spoke about the future plans of the school.
The Principal, Trilok Singh Bist congratulated the school stakeholders for the No. 1 Ranking of the school in the whole of J&K, by the Education World, for the third consecutive year.
Sonia Mahajan, CCA Coordinator, Shruti Bakshi and Aadi Sharma were the choreographers for the event.
Nandini Bakshi, the CCA Coordinator presided over the prize giving ceremony.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Head Boy Aabhas Verma.
The programme was compered by the team of smart oratory experts.
