JAMMU: Semifinals lineup has been drawn in the ongoing inter-college men’s handball tournament, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu on the campus grounds, here on Wednesday.
Teams reaching the last four stages included Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua, GDC Paloura and GGM Science College.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played on Wednesday, GDC Kathua outplayed SPMR College of Commerce 18-06 while GDC Paloura trounced GDC Udhampur 16-06. In another last eight stages match, Science College registered a narrow 14-13 win against the combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments.
Meanwhile, in women’s category, the only match played today was won by Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar beating GCW Parade 07-04.
Today’s matches were officiated by the technical penal including Gourav Sharma, Jyoti Sharma, Takdir Singh and Amit Sharma.
