Sehwag Cricket Academy ropes in Arun Sharma’s services to train young cricketers

JAMMU: The Sehwag Cricket Academy has roped in the services of former Ranji trophy player playing for Services team, Arun Sharma to train the budding talent of Jammu and Kashmir. Sharma is presently coaching Goregoan Sports Club and Wellington Sports Club, Mumbai.
Giving the tips of batting, bowling as well as fielding to the youngsters at Heritage School Jammu, Sharma said that the state has huge cricket potential and some budding cricketers were learning very quickly. He, however, said that a lot needed to be done to instill a confidence among the players. Besides, technique, of-course, cricket is a mind game, you have to read the mind of the bowler to be a better batsman. At the same time, to be a better bowler, one has to read the mind of the batsman, he said.
It is not out of place to mention here that the Sehwag Cricket Academy has been roping in the services of seasoned cricketers from all over India to groom the stuff of Jammu and Kashmir since the establishment of Sehwag Cricket Academy at Heritage School Jammu.
Earlier, the Academy utilized the services of Mithun Manhas, ace cricketer from Jammu.
Sharma also expressed his deep gratitude to the school for providing the school grounds to the Academy to facilitate the budding talent in nurturing their enthusiasm towards cricket and a strong commitment to learn the same. He also thanked the parents for sending their wards to Academy to learn the skills of cricket.
