Seerat-ul-Nabi Conference held, speakers for maintaining peace, brotherhood

JAMMU: As a mark of celebration of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, Seerat-ul-Nabi (PBUH) conference was organised at the complex of Jamia Masjid Hanfia Ghousian, Tawi Bridge here on Monday.
The conference was held under the chairmanship of Advocate Haji Abdul Majid.
Large number of Muslims, who took out procession from different parts of the city and rural areas, participated in the conference.
Renowned Islamic scholars from different parts of the country as well as from the State addressed the conference. They emphasized to adopt the teaching of Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) and stressed to maintain peace, brotherhood and harmony among all irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
They educated the participants that it is only possible if we follow the teaching and life style of Prophet Mohammad.
In the conferences, special prayers were made for the global peace and especially for restoration of peace in J&K State. The conference was addressed by Mufti Qamar-ul-Zaman Misbahi from Patna City Behar, Mufti Mohd Rafiq, Maulana Mazhar Hussain Shah, Shakeel Ahmed Meenai from Lucknow and others.
