SEECC delegation calls on Commissioner Secretary School Education

KATHUA: Province President In-charge School Officers and Lecturer Forum, SEECC Jammu Amar Nath Thakur met Commissioner Secretary School Education Shaleen Kabra , Joint Director School Education Jammu, CEO Samba and Udhampur.
Thakur told that consolidation process of data of all incharge officers and lecturers of the department has been completed in the directorate offices of Jammu and Kashmir which will be submitted to Administrative Department, Civil Secretariat in the first week of Feb. 2016 for further necessary action to expedite the regularisation process of more than three thousand officers working in the in-charge capacity in the department.
Thakur met Commissioner Secretary School Education on 27th and 28th Jan 2016 and submitted the memorandum of demands which included regularisation process of all cadres i.e Joint Directors, CEOs ,Principals, ZEOs , Lecturers and Headmasters who have not been regularised since long and nearly six hundred have retired, implementation of order No. 252-HE of 2012 Dated 31st May 2012 and circular No. 17 of GAD of 2012 Dt. 7th June 2012, to leave into rest all controversies regarding the distance mode degrees from the most reputed national and regional universities approved by UGC and DEC to avoid screening test of ReT Teachers , creation of HRM cell in the Dept. and many more.
Commissioner Secretary School Education assured to look into the problem and solve at the earliest.
Thakur thanked Commissioner Secretary School Education, Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Division and all CEOs for consolidation of data of all incharge officers and lecturers.
Thakur said that all stake holders of Education Department should avoid unnecessary controversies in the larger interest of education improvement and adopt conciliatory approach towards the solution of all problems adding that unions have democratic and constitutional right to protest against the higher authorities to force them to solve the employees demands and problems. No authority on the earth can snatch this constitutional right, he said.
The 15 member delegation was led by A.N Thakur comprising O.P Kotach President Principals Forum, S.Surjeet Singh President Headmaster Forum Daleep Kumar President ZEOs Association Jammu, Satish Datta Provincial Gen. Sec Jammu ,Principal K.K Badyal ,District Presidents Kathua , Udhampur, Samba, Doda, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Reasi and Poonch.
