JAMMU: In a contempt petition filed by Secretaries of Chief Justice (CJ) and Judges seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for non implementation of judgment passed by the Division Bench (DB) whereby it was held that Secretaries of CJ and Judges are entitled to grades equivalent to KAS, a DB of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan directed Chief Secretary (CS) to appear in person tomorrow. Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocate Ankesh Chandel appeared for the petitioners while Senior AAG Seema Shekhar represented the State. Earlier, DB had directed CS to file compliance report or appear in person.
