JAMMU: Under Operation Paathshala, an awareness programme on anti-drugs was organised at Hari Singh Higher Secondary School, Residency Road, Jammu.
The programme was organized by SDPO City North, Jammu, Vivek Shekhar Sharma with a view to aware every student about drug abuse.
SHO Police Station City, Inspector Shakti Devi and In-charge Police Post Residency, SI Sohit Trikha were also present.
Students were made aware about the drugs, their harmful effects in the life. The school staff was also briefed about their role and responsibility to prevent the students from drugs and make their future safe from this abuse. After that the students were also told about the road safety tips.
The students were also made aware how they have to make their future career bright instead of indulging in drug abuse. They were also advised to discuss this programme with their parents and friend circle to aware the more people from drug menace.
