SUNDERBANI : The newly posted SDM Hitesh Gupta along with officers of the concerned departments and the media persons visited various Panchyats including Nalah, Dewak, Siya, Hathal, Upper Hathal and Bandrai on Sunday and took stock of the losses due to incessant rains and also heard the public grievances.
The SDM issued on spot instructions to the concerned officers to take in hand immediately the restoration works particularly on damaged roads and power supply. He also advised that DPR should be prepared for the Hathal Road which has suffered heavy loss.
SDM also directed the revenue officers and the staff to make assessments of the loss of crops and damage to the houses and submit the report at the earliest possible.
Prominent among those who accompanied include Sarpanch Tirath Ram, Sarpanch Om Parkash, Sarpanch Ram Singh, Capt Romesh Lal Sharma and Kulwant Raj.
