JAMMU: To develop and encourage scientific temper among youth of the district, the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Jammu on Tuesday organised first District Level Science Exhibition 2013-14/2014-15 under RMSA at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar.
Director School Education, Jammu, H.R Pakhroo, inaugurated the science exhibition.
Principal DIET, Mohinder Singh, faculty, Principal Boys High Secondary School Gandhi Nagar, head of various educational institutions, teachers, parents, students and prominent citizens besides others were present.
While inspecting the scientific models prepared by the students of various schools, the Director appreciated the innovations made by the students in preparing the models.
Earlier, Principal DIET threw light on various educational scholarship schemes under RMSA. He informed that students from about 80 different schools participated in the exhibition in which models about various topics in the science were displayed.
