Kathua: Students & Youths of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations assembled in large numbers at Bhagat Singh Park, Kathua & raised the slogans “Rohits Vemula k katlio ko Phansi do Phansi do, Smith Irani Mudra Baad Mudra Baad, Bandaru Dattatreya Mudra Baad, Murda Baad today to show solidarity with a PhD Scholar Rohith Vemula who committed suicide in Hyderabad.
Rohith Vemula, was one of the five Dalit scholars, who was falsely expelled by the Central University on the recommendation of HRD Minister Ms Smriti Iraqi and Bandaru Dattatreya.
Dev Soni Youth Leader of SC ST OBC Confederation called upon the Prime Minister that person responsible behind such henious crime may be expelled from his Ministry & booked & punished under law for dividing the social fabric of society. Ashish Heer, Shubham Bhardwaj, Vinay Bhardwaj, Manish Jandyal, Parvesh Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Gurujeet Singh, Youth & Student leader while addressing the Protest warned the Centre Govt & Hyderabad Govt to immediately sack the VC of the Hyderabad University also otherwise they continue the struggle for exposing the Hove. Others who attended were Sh Som Raj Banger, Harjeet Samyal, Bodh Raj Heer, Nanak Chand, Kirpal Singh, Gurumeet Singh.
