Dear Editor,
State forest officials need to be vigilant against illegal cutting of trees. This is good governance. The security of forests should be enhanced by posting rangers and guards and fixing responsibility and accountability of a particular area. Nakas should be held to check the transportation of illegally cut trees. Officers should inspect their areas regularly.
