The future and progress of any country depends on the youth of the country. If the young generation of the country goes on the wrong path, then surely their life goes into darkness. The youth of the country has a desire to live every aspect of life. Even people who know ‘Smoking or drinking alcohol is injurious to health’ do not desist from consuming it. Addiction has a bad effect at the mental, social and family level. Intoxication at a young age can lead to many difficulties in later life. People of low status often spend their daily work money on drinking. If they use the money for the education of their children, their future can be bright. There are many counseling centers for de-addiction which are doing commendable work in getting rid of drug addiction. It makes a person aware of the beauty of life, who falls into drug addiction after being defeated by life. They understand that nothing is achieved by running away from the sorrows and troubles of life. A person who runs away from the challenges of life and takes recourse to things like drugs, does not achieve any goal.
To bring prosperity in the country, it is necessary to ban drugs. Social awareness in the young generation is very essential only then the country will be progressive. For the benefit of the country and the countrymen, drugs have to be uprooted, only then the future of the country will be bright.
