If you also feel redness, itching, pain and swelling in the eyes during such weather, then you should consult a doctor. Eye flu is also known as conjunctivitis and pink eye. In other words, it is also called “eye coming”. Eye flu is a kind of eye infection, in which there are problems like redness, pain and swelling in the eyes. This disease is caused by infection and this infection can spread easily from person to person. Most cases of eye flu are caused by adenoviruses, but it can also be caused by herpes, simplex, polio, and mixoviruses. You can also get this disease by coming in direct contact with any person infected with eye flu. Usually, dust or dirt causes allergies in the eyes, due to which diseases like eye flu spread. It is more in the rainy season, because in this season more moisture, water-logging and dirt are seen and the risk of spreading infection in the environment increases.
In addition, if you come in close contact with a person infected with eye flu, you are still at risk of spreading the infection. To avoid this, you should avoid touching the eyes repeatedly and coming in contact with an infected person.
