JAMMU: BJP State President and MLA Jammu West Assembly Constituency Sat Sharma (C.A) accompanied by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, SHO Janipur Police Station Varinder Gupta visited different areas in Ward No. 36 of Janipur to take stock of the conditions after the recent heavy rains and floods, which have caused loss of lives and public properties.
Sat and Dy. Commissioner also visited the family of Ravi Sharma, the boy who succumbed to his injuries while rescuing two young girls. They conveyed their condolences to the family.
Sat, on this occasion, told the family that a compensation of Rs 4 lakh has been immediately sanctioned by the government. He said that the similar amount has been handed over to the bereaved families of two girls. Vijay Sharma, Subash Sharma, Sanjeev Sharma, Radhey Sham, Joginder Sharma, Yash Pal Mantoo, Raveesh Mengi, Ashish Sharma, Lalit Luthra, Balbir Singh, Onkar Singh Bose, J.D Singh, Ramesh Khajuria, Vinod Gupta and Ankush Sharma also accompanied the MLA.
