Saroori thanks people for voting in large number

KISHTWAR: Senior Congress leader and sitting MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohamad Saroori in a special message conveyed thanks to the people of erstwhile Doda District especially Inderwal Constituency and appreciated the people for coming out to cast their vote on Tuesday.
Expressing his gratitude to the electorate of the Erstwhile Doda district, Saroori said they came out to cast their votes and thereby strengthen the democratic process in the State despite pressures from various quarters.
“I shall continue to strive to uphold the secular character of the region and strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and co-existence in the region,” Saroori said.
Saroori also appreciated the role of administration and police in ensuring peaceful polling in Erstwhile Doda district particularly Inderwal Constituency, added that the people have voted Congress on development works done by the Ghulam Nabi Azad as Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and as Union Health and Family Welfare Minister in the 1st phase.
Earlier in the morning Saroori cast his vote at his native village Sarthal district Kishtwar.
