JAMMU: Sarfaraz Choudhary of Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) bagged Bronze medal in the just held 73rd All India Police Games in Boxing at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
Contested in 92 kg weight category, Sarfraz lost in the semifinal to opponent from Indian Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) to setting for a bronze medal.
Earlier, he qualified for the quarterfinals beating hosts Utter Pradesh boxer and then reached the last four stages winning against Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
Sarfraz’s loss in the semifinals caused by a shoulder injury he suffered in the quarterfinals bout.
