REASI : Saraf Singh Nag who contested as Independent candidate from Reasi constituency joined on Monday Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which supported him during the current Assembly election.
Saraf Singh Nag, former KAS officer and known for his honesty, integrity and popularity in public lost the Assembly election 2014 in Reasi Constituency by a small margin of 1887 votes and remained runner up by securing 20130 votes.
Having full faith in the leadership of Party Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayed, he said that the period of Mufti regime from 2002 – 2005 was the Golden era in the history of Jammu and Kashmir when the burning State was brought to the situation of total peace, calm and prosperity.
Showing keen interest in the leadership of Mufti Mohd Sayeed, and highly impressed of the policies and programmes of his party which supported him during elections, Saraf Singh Nag has joined PDP.
