JAMMU: Sanjay of Guru Hanuman Akhara Delhi clinched Fourth Hut-Parthal Kesari Vishal Dangal, organised by Hut-Parthal Dangal Committee in collaboration with J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association, at Sebad, Katra in district Reasi.
In the main bout, Sanjay outplayed Benia Min of J and K Police. Winner Sanjay was awarded with cash prize of Rs 18,000 while Benia got Rs 13,000. The second main bout won by Mohanu of Haryana, who defeated Sandeep of Master Chandi Ram Akhara Delhi while third bout went to Ajay of Sanjay Akhara beating Lallu of Bajarangi Akhara in an easy bout.
Superintendent of Police, Sumit Kotwal was Chief Guest, who gave away cash prizes to the wrestlers. Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, Shiv Kumar Sharma presided while DySP Katra, Dr Ashok Sharma, Advocate Pawan Dev Singh and Mubarik Singh were Guests of Honour.
Pritam Singh Wazir, Sat Paul Sharma, Chaman Lal Bhagat, Virender Badyal, Om Parkash Verma, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) , Rattan Singh, Baldev Singh, Sukhdev Singh (all Sarpanches) were among those prominent resent.
